Attributes of an SEO Strategist
An SEO strategy (also referred to as 'SEO approach' or 'search engine optimisation strategy') is the process of planning, outlining & implementing steps designed to improve search engine rankings & conversions.
My approach to every project involves asking the right questions & listening carefully, applying meticulous detail, skill & creativity to every stage of the strategy process. I believe great campaigns don't come without listening, so I take the time to understand & identify my client's needs.
Your goals become my goals. I'll immerse myself in your brand & learn everything I can about your business goals, your values, & your customers. Even as I create & breathe life into your ideas, I strive to hone & refine my approach as the project unfolds.
I discovered early on that only by knowing what drove my clients forward, could I understand how I could get your prospects to believe in your business. This feeds into my approach & helps me to come up with engaging & successful marketing solutions that express your brand, drive business & shape its future.
Developing a digital marketing plan will help you identify what makes your business unique & how to get your message out to your audiences through a variety of digital channels. An in-depth & detailed approach to laying out your digital marketing strategy can reveal new opportunities & expand your reach.
Digital strategy considers the enterprise holistically in assessing how digital technologies can create business & customer value. Key elements of the business are assessed together with external market trends & competitor inputs in developing strategic scenarios & options for evaluation. The analysis, for example, includes understanding the customer experience & associated key business & service model characteristics to identify potential strategic opportunities. The strategic options analysis also considers a broad range of emerging technologies to assess their potential. Digital strategy generally addresses a one to two year rolling timeframe with later periods defined at an aggregate level.

Information strategies focus holistically on structured, semi & unstructured information & their interaction across an organisation. The strategy assesses the business direction & strategic information needs, analysing current information assets & capabilities, & developing plans to address strategic priorities & gaps. The strategy development process is guided by better practice frameworks such as Mike 2.0 that have been successfully used across a number of industries & geographies.
Digital Transformation Strategy
Digital transformation strategy aims at achieving fundamental change through the implementation of disruptive digital technologies. Transformational change entails a radical rethink of how a technology is exploited to find new business models & new revenue streams. Frequently Asked Questions
Who do you work with?
I work with startups, SMEs & some of the region's most prominent organisations. I can help you if you run an eCommerce site, you want to generate leads online, or your agency requires some additional marketing support.
We are likely to be a good fit if:
- Your current marketing efforts aren't producing the results you require.
- You no longer have the time to coordinate your online marketing correctly.
- You want to promote your company online but don't know where to start.
I'm very selective about the clients I choose to work with. If I don't believe we can work together to achieve your goals, I will let you know upfront.
How would we work together?
I can be flexible to accommodate your requirements, whether that's becoming an extension of your marketing team, running your company's marketing activities on your behalf or providing support as & when required.
How will I know what you are working on?
I'm transparent in everything I do, so you know what I'm doing, why I'm doing it & what impact it has had on your bottom-line.
Work is discussed in advance & is itemised in your monthly report. I provide access to a Google Drive folder that contains all of my work so you can quickly provide feedback & keep a record of work produced.
How much do you charge?
I charge a day rate, so you know how many billable hours you receive each month & how much you pay in advance.
Your quote will be dependent on the scope of the work required to meet your goals. I will be able to provide you with an estimate after our initial consultation.
Will I be tied into a lengthy contract?
In a word, no. I won't hold you to ransom in the unlikely event you aren't happy with the work I produce. I ask you to provide me with 30 days notice should you wish to pause the campaign for any reason.
What locations do you cover?
I mainly work with businesses located in Lancashire & Cumbria. However, my work isn't location-dependent, so I'm able to work with companies throughout the UK & internationally.
Can I meet you?
Of course! I will happily visit your business to discuss your search marketing requirements in more detail.
Are you ready to discuss growing your business?
I'm currently taking on a limited number of clients. Contact me to arrange a free consultation & find out if we can work together to grow your business.
